From September to November 2017, I was fortunate enough to serve as the Special Events Coordinator for the Zeta Tau chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This appointed position allowed me to expand my event planning skills by giving me the responsibility of conceptualizing, planning, and executing Family Day and Homecoming, as well as some other small events, for the chapter. During this time, I also served as the chair of the Homecoming and Family Day committees.
From November 2017 to November 2018, I was fortunate enough to serve as the Public Relations chair for the chapter. This elected position allowed me to expand my knowledge of the Public Relations field by giving me the responsibility of creating original advertising content, writing updates for the national Adelphean Magazine, and conceptualizing, planning, and executing promotional tabling events for the public. I was also able to partake in maintaining the chapter's public website and social media accounts. During this time, I also introduced and served as the chair of the Tabling committee, which assisted in the promotional tabling events, and will continue to be a part of the chapter for years to come. All designs were created with the Alpha Delta Pi's national brand and the chapter's image in mind. Below are examples of some of the digital content and updates I created for the chapter. |

While I planned many promotional tabling events for the Zeta Tau chapter, my personal favorite was "My, My, Miss American Pi" in honor of 9/11. We asked students to use their handprint to create an American flag. The outpour of support and participation made it the best event I planned for the chapter... hands down. One of the campus publications wrote an article about the event.
